My experience with Dr. Lambert was outstanding! She literally saved my life. Due to turnover, retirements and extreme understaffing at the Toledo VA Clinic, Dr. Lambert was brought in to assist with the workload. I had lost my PCP due to retirement, and was subsequently bounced from one PCP to another with little continuity of care.Dr. Lambert took the time to really look at my records and talk to me. I never felt rushed. She ended up ordering a kidney ultrasound, which showed something out of the ordinary. She phoned me within an hour of my having the ultrasound done, and recommended I go to the ER in Ann Arbor.I did, and as it turned out, I had bladder cancer.That was last November. Due to her skill, patience and follow-through, we found my cancer while it was still non-muscle invasive. I'll still need treatments for the next three years, but all involved agree that she saved my life by ordering a test nobody else did.Thank you, Dr. Lambert, wherever you are!
