I saw Dr. Walsh after having a really bad experience with a different Urologist. The other urologist diagnosed me with IC and pelvic floor dysfunction but offered no treatment (except one that cost over $300 per session and wasn’t covered by insurance). He also was extremely blunt and unempathetic about a condition that will be a lifetime struggle. Dr. Walsh was a breath of fresh air. She came to the same diagnosis but offered me numerous treatment options and way to manage my symptoms. My first visit with her greatly improved my quality of life. I am very grateful that I made the switch. Personally, did not feel that she was “cold” at all and I really felt heard by her.
