I highly recommend Dr. Pierce, his office support staff, and Vanderbilt Univ Medical Center. Two weeks ago he repaired my two abdominal wall hernias (surgical and umbilical) and removed an infected mesh. He is an excellent surgeon and also very approachable. He took the time to answer all my questions and he explains things clearly. He is upbeat and realistic. He is very thorough in writing up his "post visit summary" with diagnosis, surgical recommendation, risks, expected outcome, and everything we discussed at my pre-op office visit. I was able to read that and truly understand what to expect. At my request, and on short notice, he did a Telehealth appointment with me to answer more questions I had prior to surgery. I feel great and am confident moving forward with my health. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Pierce.
