My first experience meeting doctor Wilde was around 4 am the morning after my daughter was born. I had no sleep and had dosed off trying to breastfeed her. It was a lot of hard work trying to get her to latch on. As we all know the hospitals make a huge deal about co sleeping with a new born. When he came in my room I immediately woke up and started crying because I felt so horrible that I had fell asleep with my baby. My first feeling, I was failing her because I couldn't get her to latch and falling asleep trying to. Complet breakdown! This man sat down, hugged me and explained to me that when breastfeeding your body releases oxytocin that relaxes you and makes you sleepy on top of having no sleep in about 58 hrs. No one had told me that before this emotional meeting. Needless to say he has been my daughter's doctor for almost 14 years now. I have a lot of health problems and see many doctors myself. Dr. Wilde is one of the best doctors I have ever met in every in every way possible.
