Excellent doctor and surgeon. Saved my life. Huntsman Cancer Hospital is lucky to have him as are all his patients. From my first meeting with him he put me completely at ease which I am sure helped me in the healing process. Not only an outstanding doctor but also a very compassionate, easy going and likable man. If he were to transfer to another hospital anywhere in the country, I would follow him for any treatment I would need in his areas of expertise. When only the best will do —Dr. Richard Cannon - Huntsman Cancer Hospital, Salt Lake City, Utah.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
