Patient Reviews
Nov 30, 2016
Dr. Carter is as competent and skilled a surgeon as one could hope for. After years of back pain, with no relief, I asked for a consultation with him. He showed me the X-Rays he ordered, revealing Lumbar Spinal Stenosis, which he suspected, but he also found evidence of Cervical Stenosis. I then had an MRI, which confirmed his diagnosis. The 2nd of 2 procedures (lumbar) was 4 weeks ago. Even with some normal recovery pain, I can tell the pain in my spine is gone! I'll soon be walking pain free.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
