I had 3 episodes of blocked bowel in 5 years. Was suggested that adhesions from ruptured appendix was cause. Scheduled elective surgery w/Dr Oh to remove them. In surgery, he found large mesh patch from abdominal hernia inserted after appendix surgery in another state was wrapped nearly around my intestine & a fistula was growing there. Repair required more than 1 surgery, presented complex problems to which his tireless research and exceptional skills found solutions! Was in ICU 3 weeks and he visited at least once each day, I’m told. He would call my wife if he missed her, or he provided his personal cell number so she could get progress reports. He routinely consulted other specialists of other systems to cover all issues. I found him to be exceptionally qualified, highly approachable & especially attuned to patient care. His explanations to & consultations with my family members were very comforting & continually built their confidence. I highly recommend Dr Oh to everyone!
