I had symptoms similar to the ones that lead to a drastic revision of my other, older hip replacement. Both hips were replaced around the millennium, one before and one after; both probably before Dr. Swenson started his practice. With verbal descriptions, analysis of my condition, and x-ray images of me and other (anonemous) cases, he very effectively put my (engineering) mind at ease: my condition is not the result of another twenty years old replacement-gone-bad. Just age and lack of exercise.He demonstrated good communication skills, understanding of patient thinking patterns and concerns, and thorough knowledge of current and historical 'state of the art'. If I ever have another osteo-problem (hope not!!), he's my surgeon-of-choice.Thanks doc.
