I am an older but active male who often has sports related injuries and have been under the care of Dr Chang for 4 years at the Union Sq Mt Sinai location. Given my age I have interacted with doctors and can somehow benchmark them. Dr Chang is more thorough in his diagnosis. He will spend a lot of time handling the injured areas in different positions, ask a lot of questions and finally carefully use ultrasound imaging. Dr Chang is more knowledgeable. In a treatment he came up with a procedure other doctors had not mentioned and which I seldom found in the literature. He also exhibited a much deeper knowledge of how frequently the procedure is necessary and at which interval. He is very caring in his calm way. You can sense he really wants his treatment to cure you and exudes a feeling of responsibility, caring and perhaps pride in his ability to be helpful thanks to his dedication. His notes are very detailed, nothing is done hastily. I have much respect for this great professional.
