Dr. Gilbert is the most attentive doctor I have ever had. He answers my calls on the weekend, holidays, after hours, and anytime I’m in the hospital. He figured out complicated medical conditions that caused gut issues. He’s an Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome specialist, an amazing research doctor, figured out more about my gut in one biopsy than any doctor has figured out in 14 years. Dr. Gilbert helped me get stable when I was medically really struggling. He’s literally saved my life so many times. He works well with doctors in out-of-state hospitals. And he saved my friend’s life for free because she wasn’t able to pay, but she desperately needed someone who knows about complex conditions to step in. Dr. Gilbert helped her from RI and my friend is in WI. He is always searching for the next step to keep moving my health further forward. I recommend Dr. Gilbert to all my friends who are sick with gut issues. He’s a genius and a very caring doctor who has a chill and humorous personality.
