Dr C. has been my oncologist for about a year now. I’d already been through 3 others. Through having to be my own advocate, & dealing with doctors, not listening, paying attention, & sometimes not even reading my file I finally found this wonderful human. And first and foremost an oncologist that you see on a regular basis has to be a good person. That’s exactly what he is. He pays attention he listens he cares, and he’s never been dismissive. He has genuine conversations & may even get off topic. that’s because he gets to know his patience. We have conversations about everything from history to my medical conditions, how Im feeling, even talk about his farm. We even disagree on things like friends do, but with the added bonus of him being a knowledgeable, well-versed educated oncologist that cares about his patients more than any other doctor I have ever been to. if you need a medical oncologist and you are anywhere near Shelby make an appointment to meet this man.
