We were so blessed to have Dr. McCluney leading the way for our son after his traumatic injury at Pickwick Lake over the Memorial Day weekend. Our son and his good friend were airlifted to Tupelo under Dr. McCluney's care, and he made sure the trauma team, ER team, nurses, and surgical staff were ready and prepared. Dr. McCluney personally called on the way to Tupelo from Memphis after we received the very scary news about our son. He personally checked on us each and every day that we were at the hospital either with a personal visit or call. He called to check up after Griffin's release and during his transition back home. He was kind, thorough, helpful, informative, and gracious. His humble demeanor and true authenticity as our son's lead physician and caregiver was truly extraordinary, and my family and I will always be eternally grateful for what he did to literally save the life of our son and his dear friend. He is our hero, and we are so grateful that God put him in our path.
