Dr. Richard Nguyen was the contracted doctor in the nursing facility that my mom was admitted to, and I can confidently say that he is a best-in-class professional. When I had lost all faith in humanity in our elderly healthcare system, Dr. Nguyen came in and gave me hope that there are still good people out there. He is caring, respectful, and extremely responsive. He takes his job seriously, goes above and beyond, and it shows in how well he communicates and treats both his patients and their loved ones who care about them. When my mom's blood pressure dipped extremely low, the head nurse texted Dr. Nguyen right away and asked for guidance. Within 5 minutes, he texted back and instructed the nurse to reduce my mom's medication, which did the trick. Whenever I had questions, I texted/called Dr. Nguyen and he picked up and/or responded right away. He always explained my mom's progress clearly and always went above and beyond to make sure that I had whatever information I needed to decide the next steps for my mom.
