Patient Reviews
Apr 04, 2023
I had a "procedure" done on my back by a Pain Specialist that caused me to lose feeling on my left side, from my waist down to my left foot. Dr. Lall came to the hospital when I arrived there. He did lumbar surgery on me and found nerve damage and spinal fluid leakage. He repaired the leakage. He did a back compression and my back doesn't hurt anymore, and repaired as much as he could considering the nerve damage that was done by the pain specialist. The last MRI shows nerve clumping and some are fusing together. I may never get feeling on that side and I deal with the nerve pain and muscle spasms that feel like a hot poker attached to electricty. I am thankful for Dr Lall and wish I had gone to him for surgery. Dr Lall is a patient man. He has a great bed-side manner. I felt I could trust him and it proved right that I did. He knows what he's doing. He is an awesome Surgeon. I told him if I need surgery for anything else, he is the man! His staff is wonderful, too.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
