Patient Reviews
Feb 06, 2024
Dr. DeSantis was my doctor at Fort Campbell, KY in the 90's. I was a difficult case. A large non-cancerous tumor (I was told over 7 lbs.) that encased my right ovary and uterus. He removed the tumor and right ovary but I was told children would likely be out of the question. He told my IVF would likely be the only option and then pushed my case to the 'front of the line' to get me and my husband to Bethesda where we underwent IVF and subsequently had our son. He followed my pregnancy and was there for me the entire time. He was wonderful, always explained everything and was my OB/GYN for several years thereafter.Later, after we had both moved, I sought his expertise for another issue I was having. Again, he was thorough and took his time explaining everything. The best OB/GYN I have had in my 54 years. I am looking to have him help me again as I advance in age and consider options for my female health.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
