My husband is currently taking treatments for medullary thyroid cancer. After his surgery to remove his thyroid, we asked three of his doctors about doing a PET scan to make sure nothing was missed. They all refused. But, Dr. Frazier ordered one without us mentioning it to him. It showed additional cancer cells in two spots, one of which would not have been included in the radiation treatments. I can't tell you how much we appreciate Dr. Frazier's thoroughness. Ordering that one common test may have prolonged my husband's life substantially Thank you, Dr. Frazier!
