My family and I have gone to Dr. Dakin for many years; until 2 months ago, he had just handled my cleanings. Eventually, I needed my (2) 10 year old metal caps replaced with porcelain crowns. I absolutely hate having anything done to my teeth! I'm truly a baby about it, so I was extremely nervous about this procedure and had gotten another opinion before coming back to Dr. Dakin's office to get it done. Both he and his hygienist were so understanding and accommodating the entire time, giving me more numbing medication when it became apparent I needed it...multiple times and adjusting their work speed and intensity to my comfort. They were very patient with my incessant questions. 6 weeks later, I was still very sensitive, so I went back and he shaped the crowns in such a way that my pain and sensitivity were almost non-existent a week later! He also has a wonderful receptionist, June, who is super helpful and responsive. Dr. Dakin truly remembers and cares about his patients.
