I had strep veridans in a spinal disc, very painful and fortunately rare. He had to explain just what was happening to me. However, as I lost 2.5' of height to the infection misshaping my spine. I did recover and go back to work. Can enjoy my passions of mountain biking, skiing and dancing even though his prognosis was I'd never work again. Working out at gyms and cycling much of my life may have helped.
