I see a great many physicians in Tucson, alas. Dr. Berens is one of only two I know who comes into the examining room and treats me like I'm a real person and not merely Patient #17 for the day. He conducts intelligent conversation and listens to me. Even when I am on the treatment table, he and his staff talk with me. Berens and his staff are a cool bunch. And, by the way, the treatments help ease my pain.
