I had messed up my talus bone but before seeing Dr. Meislin, I saw 5 different doctors in PA, each who stated I had pulled a muscled and strained it. As my condition worsened and I could not even walk, I was getting nowhere in PA. Dr. Meislin used the MRI from PA and knew right away what was wrong. He even asked, what did you do 3 years ago! I had forgotten about an injury I sustained and he knew exactly when this happened! He did surgery on the ankle talus bone and I after healing, I had no more issues. That was in 2011. 13 years later, I am still having no issues! Dr. Meislin is a truly talented doctor and I trust his opinion immensely. He is worth the 3 hr ride to NYC. What a compassionate, skilled surgeon who treats you like a human and cares. If you have an orthopedic issue, don't walk but RUN to see Dr. Meislin. You won't regret it!!
