Patient Reviews
Feb 15, 2020
August 22, 2018 was the scariest day of my life. My mother was having a massive heart attack for over 3 days before telling anyone, so when I got her to her family doctor that morning they immediately called for an ambulance. She started crashing in the ambulance and had a team of doctors waiting for her in the Emergency Room, Dr. Wegner being one of them. They rushed her into the Catheter room and prepped her for an emergency quadruple bypass. Dr. Wegner came and explained that 4 of her arteries were 90%+ blocked, one of which being the widow maker. He explained what had to be done and made sure we understood everything. He explained in ways we understood, unlike most doctors that talk to you like you went to medical school. She coded twice on the table, and was in surgery for 8 hours. When Dr. Wegner came out to tell us about the surgery, he again broke it down in ways we understood and was completely honest with us of the outcome. We owe him her life! Thank You Dr. Wegner!!
