I had my spinal fusion in 1990 when I was 14. I had a curvature of over 120° and Dr. Hensinger was able to get the curvature back to around 65° which was a marked improvement. I am now 45 and doing well as can be expected for someone with SMA. Without the surgery I can be assured I would not be here today. Thank you Dr. Hensinger.
