Patient Reviews
Mar 05, 2024
I am a senior citizen and went to see Dr. Vickerman to deal with a hernia that appeared after some strenuous exercise routines. When I went to Dr. Vickerman, he was friendly, professional and thorough in the initial checkup. He provided me the options and I chose traditional surgery. The day of the surgery, I showed up at the appointed time and was prepped by his well-trained staff. He visited briefly with me prior to the surgery. I was in and out within an hour or so and upon awakening, he advised that it was actually a double hernia. I was released and had two follow-up appointments over the next several weeks to check the incision and the healing process. I returned to normal activity at the end of four weeks. That was in early December and now, three months following the surgery, I have had no issues and everything is going well. Dr. Vickerman did an excellent job and I couldn't be more pleased. He is a caring and courteous gentleman with impeccable medical skills.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
