Patient Reviews
Sep 22, 2022
Caring and competent endocrinologist who offers sensible and practical approaches. Despite his fancy job title on the UCSF staff, he is very down-to-earth and never seems rushed. He listens to what the patient's concerns are. His laid-back, "chill" manner sometimes can belie his expertise. He is not an alarmist and provides only the most practical suggestions for your health. Calming. Can treat diabetes and osteoporosis.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
