I originally was referred to Dr. Shurmur in 2006, for my out-of-control psoriasis. He was professional, extremely informative and patient oriented, and had my plaque psoriasis under control in short order. A lot changed in the next 15 years, but in 2023 when I was again in need of a Rheumatologist, I requested him, due to long standing trust. This time,, I was suffering from multiple joint issues in my lower extremities due to Long COVID and a musculoskeletal attack from it. I was already seeing an orthopedic surgeon, but at this point my right hip was degenerating rapidly. Again, Dr. Shurmur set things in motion, and to make it short had me getting a hip replacement by the end of August. Facing a knee replacement in May this year, I wanted to consult with him about that, and my current problems with my hands. He gave excellent counsel, and again, has me on a healing path. So blessed to have this excellent doctor in my care circle.
