When my PCP referred me to Wound Care for a wound that wouldn't heal, I requested to see Dr. Dretler since my husband had experienced such effective treatment from him two years before. As he carefully examined my wound, he noted that my problem was likely due to poor circulation in my leg resulting from broken bones and other damage to that leg due to a serious auto accident in the past, clearly described what was happening to the wound as a result and very thoroughly explained to me his treatment plan and emphasized the need for vascular assessment and treatment to prevent reoccurrence. He always displays a concern for my comfort level as the treatments move forward and after only 4 weeks of treatment, healing is evident and he is optimistic that treatment can end soon.
