Went to VA for annual physical. VA is a horrible place, but Dr. Brammer was a nice surprise. Friendly, honest, and compassionate. Gives you as much time as YOU need and doesn't waste your time either. Brooklyn accent can give you a run for your money, but o just asked her to clarify and she did. She is blunt, but remember it's her job. If you won't some to tell you you're doing great at life, see a therapist. If you want someone to hold you accountable see Dr. Brammer. Comes with solutions and not just problems, doesn't like to dole out medications unnecessarily, and promotes positive life choices. In other words, she's a great DO! I'm happy to have found a VA PCP with this much knowledge and experience. Rare opportunity for us vets. Bonus: she knows Men's health. Ignore the bad reviews, know you can't BS this one, and get ready to make better choices. Your Mom may not care about your diabetes and wants to pinch your fat little cheeks and feed you pie, but Dr. Brammer will the truth.
