I loved Dr McLaren. I had a surprise pregnancy at 48! My OB sent me to him. I was impressed from day 1. I never felt rushed. He explained everything to me & answered all questions. I had gestational DM and he stayed on top of my blood sugars and had me call in my daily numbers. He adjusted my insulin as needed. My husband & I felt very comfortable with him. He hooked me up to the fetal monitor weekly. The last week of my pregnancy I was on the monitor and he said “It’s time to go to the hospital.” I was like Nooooo, my Dr isnt on call today (lol) He looked at my husband & I and said, very gently yet stern, “Let’s go. Your baby is alive right now. Let’s keep it that way.” We left! A few hours later I had a C-section and a very healthy baby girl! Thank you SO MUCH Dr McLaren!! You and Dr Williams (my OB) kept my baby & I safe for 9mos! We are so grateful for you both. As far as the office, I never had a problem scheduling an appt. Staff was polite. Office was clean.
