I was in need of a new physician due to my previous physician retired, and I was having a medical concern. Dr. Sporre explained everything that was needing to be done for a procedure before performing the task, explaining the procedure during the steps, what he was visualizing, and the meaning of the observations. This helped me stay calm during the procedure. Discussing the what if options. He did not try to fan me away, say not to worry, or wait and see. For me, having the plans to work through my mind until the results were available helped me visualize, process, and prepare the future. Luckily, this time it was not cancer. However, I have the family history;I am scared to go to these appointments. Dr. Sporre's compassion and time to educate me on the hormonal changes going on, the pros and cons to the recommendations of my physicians for my overall health is more than my PCP. He is a patient advocate & educator. He gained my trust & respect. Thank you, Dr. Sporre.
