I ended up having severe sciatica in my left leg and went to the ER. I was referred to a pain management doctor who ordered X-rays and an MRI. After going over the results, it was determined that my best option was to see an Orthopedic Specialist. With my wife having successful back surgery by Dr. Sabbagh a few years ago, I immediately went to him. After explaining my current issue and pain level, his office staff was very helpful and got me into see him immediately. Once he reviewed my X-ray and MRI, he basically said surgery was my only option. The pain was so bad, it was even affecting my bladder. The surgery was a complete success and I should be 100% within 2-3 months. When my wife had her back surgery, I researched many specialists and went with Dr. Sabbagh. Most of his below average reviews are from people who just wanted him to do immediate surgery without trying non surgical methods. He will tell you that surgery is not always the best option, but in my case it was.
