Patient Reviews

I was referred to Dr. Taylor because I suffered knee pain. Despite having arthritic knees, I walk every day. My morning routine covers over two miles and by the end of the day I have usually logged over five miles. In between I do knee bends, stretches and other exercises. I’ve always exercised. I used to buy the exercise videos, but over the years I developed my own routines. I believe it is the constant exercise that keeps me functioning despite knee pain. I had a particularly bad bout of knee pain in July of this year. By the time I saw Dr. Taylor that pain had lessened quite a bit. Most days I exercised despite the pain.I told him that. I agreed to try injections to see if that would help. Dr. Douglas Bevin injected me with Triamcinolone. I was NOT informed of dangers or side effects. I suffered three days of insomnia, mild headaches and upset stomach. When I researched this medication, I discovered it can cause liver and or kidney damage, heart failure etc.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
