Year was 1989. Sick before my C-section, sick after having the C-section, I experienced postpartum depression. Dr. Rosemary Hurley’s keen observation knew something was up.She called me at 2 o’clock in the morning to ask how I was doing ? She came to my apartment because she knew I didn’t have a car. Did a well check on my youngest, examined my four year old for milk fever, checked me and my incisions. When she realized I was going to be OK she moved on like Mary Poppins to the next patient that urgently needed her.I wish I could’ve told her before. She retired how much she meant to me. I hope this review finds its way to her. Thank you, Dr. Hurley. It was 35 years ago and I’ve never forgotten not one single day. Thank you for the loan of your VHS tapes. Much gratitude you were an excellent doctor., I hope retirement finds you well.
