I found Dr Pottenger in 1992 after a skiing fall ruptured my ACL I was a 32 yo, very athletic mom of 3 youngsters. He had deep empathy since his own promising football future was ended by surgery that resulted in permanent loss of full range of motion. My injury was similar to his but I recovered 100% range of motion! His work to reconstruct my knee (and my life) has lasted more than 30yrs. In 1995 I placed 3rd in a running race, and have continued to compete as an amateur triathlete. Now a mom of 5 and grandmom of 8. Thank you Dr P for so many great years! I have always thought of you with gratitude and will continue to appreciate your medical talent for decades to come.
