I was referred to Dr. Acherman because my high risk OB thought that my baby had a VSD. I was unable to afford the co-pay for the echocardiogram at my OB’s office, however, Ruben offered to do the test at no cost. This man is kind, respectful, and patient. He went through the entire exam explaining to me everything he was looking at on the ultrasound. It turned out my baby had no heart issues. Ruben offered to see the baby after delivery and gave me his card so that I wouldn’t have issues getting an appointment. I pray that God blesses this man for being a patient advocate and I hope one day I can repay the kindness he showed to me.
