Patient Reviews
Feb 15, 2024
When Dr. Brown enters the room, he is smiling and greets with a big friendly handshake. He asks if I've had any problems, how is my blood pressure, what do I need. He checks my meds on the computer. Reviews my recent blood test results out loud; commenting on good or bad results, asking if I am willing to add a med to lower cholesterol even more. Says his staff will set me up for an echo-cardiogram to continue monitoring any plaque build up. When I arrived, I told the front desk I had another appt in Oakland, that I had not realized was on same day, so I was hoping I could get in early. She had me in the room with the assistant so quickly, and then Dr. Brown followed right afterwards. Everyone was so efficient and timely. I met Dr. Brown when I had an abnormal EKG more than 15 years ago. He carefully explained my problem. In ensuing years I have heard he is a great surgeon, so I know he is the right doctor for any surgery I might need. I trust him. And he cares.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
