There are not enough words to possibly explain the gratitude my family and I have for Dr. Ghatan. When my sister became ill and diagnosed with a Glioblastoma, he stepped up and took charge. The way he dealt with everything was professional, genuine and totally straight up, factual and honest! He was a force to be reckoned with. He spoke to us as humans, explained in layman terms, took the time again and again to explain if we didn't understand. But more important than that, was the humanity he treated us with, totally reachable at any time and our biggest advocate - making sure my sister had everything she could possibly need, from day of diagnosis, brain surgery to when we realized, there was nothing more we could do as it was a largely aggressive tumor, and she was not going to recover. He listened to us, answered questions, but always honest in his opinions, yet ready to accept any decisions we made, beginning until end. Thank you Dr. Ghatan, forever grateful!
