Dr. Cowan is knowledgeable, warm, present, and collaborative. Unlike many health care providers, she clearly considers you a whole person and relates to you as one. She takes the time to explain treatment options and she offers comprehensive recommendations, addressing not just biochemical problems, but also physical health, sleep, exercise, and psychosocial needs. She is by far the best psychiatrist I have ever seen.
