I’ve had other doctors in the past, no one compares to Dr. Sahar Awad, and I can say this only after my one initial consultation. When I moved states, I had to get a new doctor that I did not feel was listening to me or prescribing me accurately for improvement. The meetings were 10-15min long, and I felt unheard. I knew I needed another dr, and someone referred Dr. Awad. On the first and only visit I have had thus far with her, I can confidently say she is the best dr I have ever had. She took a full hour to listen to me, REALLY listen to me. She treated me as a person, and not just another number. She talked to me about life, had me do some tests, and asked such specific questions that I wasn’t sure what the relevance was (but it was because she’s so smart, through those questions she was able to understand me and my behaviors). She re-diagnosed me to something I never knew I had, but it made perfect sense. She put me on new medication, and I can already tell it’s what I needed.
