I have had a sleep disorder for 20+ years. Every time I've moved cities it's been a challenge to find a new sleep medicine physician who will write the prescription I rely on to function every day. I have tried CPAP several times without success. Unlike other doctors I've seen, Dr. Mashaqi actually listened to my history and focused on continuing the medication that's been working. Instead of trying to force me to waste my time on CPAP yet again, he has encouraged me to seek alternatives that are more likely to help, like dental appliances, which I will be pursuing.
