We met Dr. Patel in November of 2022. My husband was admitted to Mayo Clinic following a biopsy of a mass that was causing a lot of bleeding. The mass turned out to not be cancer, thank goodness- but it was very vascular, so it had to be removed. The biopsy was done at a different facility, by a different doctor, who was also very good. The day we found out the my husband did not have cancer, we had another scare to worry about... his bleeding wouldn't stop. He got admitted and we met Dr. Patel and his wonderful team the next morning. He spent a lot of time with us, answering all of our questions thoroughly and making us feel assured that we were in the right place. The lesion that my husband had was very rare, so the treatment of his case was not common or routine in any way. Dr. Patel reviewed several case studies and came up with a plan that was safe, effective and included our input. The plan was a 3 part plan that included 3 different surgeries.
