I met Dr. Rahman when I went in for a consultation 7 months ago to have a port installed for chemo. He was extremely knowledgable and also demonstrated a very strong knowledge of the breast cancer diagnosis I had received. My port placement went very well (still complimented by medical staff on my small scar!) and my husband was so impressed with how he followed up with him in the waiting room. The more we learned about Dr. Rahman, the more it became obvious he was the surgeon we trusted to do my mastectomy & lymph node removal. He had studied under a highly regarded cancer surgeon in Florida and has performed many cancer surgeries.We picked him for his knowledge, his kindness, his ongoing demonstration of being a team player (constant contact with my oncologist and nurse navigator), and his honesty. What a great help it has been to go through this situation in my own community with such support.
