My life & health was at it's absolute worst physically, physiologically, and worst of all, psychologically. I had a 91.1 AHI when testing for sleep apnea. I was having circulation, oxygen, and even neurological issues. I was falling, taking micro-naps, having seizures, syncope, and a long list of terrifying repercussions. I had to step down from an executive position and was impaired cognitively. I tried but felt hopeless to diet and exercise. I had no energy. I tried for years to get a CPAP, but when an ACA plan swallows up the business in a zip code one year as a new company, gets everybody to join, and then spikes the premium drastically the next year, you keep having to change plans in a cycle. Combine that with the fact that it is difficult with HMOs to get referrals, appointments, tests, etc without major gaps, and you end up spending years trying to get what you need. Dr. Gurevich reached out as he was concerned I took a test in Aug and come March had no cpap. Rest is history
