As a medical device research consultant, I talk with a lot of doctors across a lot of specialties when my healthcare is at stake, and when it isn't. I really liked Dr. Kahnowitz' approach to medicine and to working with a difficult patient (me- I have just enough medical knowledge to put myself in serious danger, I'm non compliant, and I tend to want to minimize both danger and treatment). I had a DVT and a strong possibility of PE while working overseas that he saw after a very delayed ER visit
