Patient Reviews

I have no idea why there are 1 star reviews but Dr. Taylor is a fantastic surgeon and empathetic person. I have had 3 shoulder surgeries over the years by another HSS surgeon and finally in 2018 I needed a shoulder replacement. He did an awesome job. Although the first 5 days were VERY painful it was worth it! I have neck and back issues also. He (or Nick who is also great) is always available for me when I call. As for the lady who complained about not being seen by Dr. Taylor and being seen by Nick, you do not know how lucky you were. Nick is also fabulous and knowledgeable. Nothing but high praise for Sam Taylor, MD and his team!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
