I’ve never met a doctor I actually like. I’ve never felt like a human in the drs office before. Just a number. This isn’t the case here. It starts at the front when you sign in. Always pleasant, inside the nurses are comforting and hospitable, the assistant that sets up appointments is personable and hilarious. The lady in charge of coding and helping with your insurance fights for you like it’s her own case. Then there’s Dr. Menon. He took the time after seeing 3 other Drs. To hear me and my pain. To hear what I do for a living and my financial situation as a bartender out of work for an extended period of time. He made me comfortable until it was the time to have surgery. He gave me hope and information that took more of his busy time then he probably had. We live in a very populated place and when you’re the best of the best you don’t have a lot of time. But he makes time. He explains procedures. Helps you understand your options. He doesn’t treat you like a number.
