Dr. Zhao was very kind, and willing to take me on as a complicated patient with atypical presenting may thurner syndrome. Other physicians had brushed me off and had not wanted to investigate further as they did not think I had may thurner when I did suspect it. She was willing to do an MRA to find the MTS even after ultrasound didn't find it. Thankfully, she made that choice and listened to my concerns and symptoms as we found it on imaging finally, then opted to do a venogram and eventually stented me not long afterward which gave me my ability to sit and walk without immense pain! She has been kind every step of the way, even when I had concerns and voiced them. She gave me my ability to walk back without internally screaming and I am forever grateful.
