Dr. Babapoor was great. Very thorough and listens well. He performed a PFA on me in September. Dr. Zimmerman was scheduled to do the procedure, but he was ill, so Dr. Babapoor was substituted. However, I was never notified of the change until 15 hours before when I elected to call the office to confirm it was still on. I had never met Dr. Babapoor nor had I ever spoken with him. The procedure was successful and I was very satisfied with the doctor, but not with the office. About 4 months later I had developed an occasional rapid heart beat and at an office consult I was given a monitor to wear for 7 days. What I did not know was that although 7 days was what the doctor ordered, I was billed by the monitor provider for 30 days per their billing procedure. When I asked Babapoor's office manager why I wasn't told about that, she told me, 'You didn't ask.' As I said, Babapoor was excellent, the office not so much.
