Dr. Jinadasa was one of the many accomplished physicians who cared for me in November and December of 2018 when my appendix burst and I became very sick. The experience was traumatic for me and I had to stay in the hospital much longer than I wanted. Dr. Jinadasa's bedside manner, her warmness, and care, are what got me through some of the toughest days of my hospitalization. When I was re-admitted and had to spend my New Year's Eve in the hospital, Dr. Jinadasa kindly visited me and watched the ball drop on TV, even though I was no longer on her caseload. There are many talented surgeons at Beth Israel, but Dr. Jinadasa stood out as someone who really cared about my mental well being as well as my physical health.
