Scott Hammer, MD has been my primary care physician since I moved to southern Delaware 5 years ago. Waits for an appointment are as short as one day. His office suite is clean and nicely decorated and equipped with the latest technology. Time waiting to be seen is usually very brief. His reception and nursing staff are attentive and professional. Perhaps most importantly, he takes enough time to know his patients well and get full context for the problem requiring treatment. He quickly submits orders for prescriptions and tests. His staff will even make appointments for any necessary specialist visits. My cardiologist has told me I am fortunate to have Scott Hammer as my primary care physician and I wholeheartedly agree.
