I went through a very trying and difficult surgery this past week. It was all very unexpected and I was freaking out. Dr Hardouin's calm and warm demeanor and reassuring words before I went into the operating room made all the difference. He did not perform the actual surgery, however I felt very fortunate to have him in attendance. Skill can be learned, but kindness and compassion come from the heart.
